The project involved 150 actors and 30 directors. Io Donna met six Italian actresses (Sonia Bergamasco, Anita Caprioli, Donatella Finocchiaro, Valentina Carnelutti, Anna Bonaiuto, Carlotta Natoli) who contributed for free.
